VTG 1980s Goebel W Germany Lead Crystal CAROUSEL Candy Bowl 3D Horses Menagerie

For your consideration is this vintage candy bowl produced by Goebel Porzellan GmbH of Bad Staffelstein of West Germany during the 1980s. I've attached a newspaper advertisement posted in The Californian and dated 10-May-1984 for reference on when this was made available in the US for purchase. The bowl is an absolute stunner and may have originally come with a carousel top lid but has since been separated. The dish has a smooth texture on the inside and stippled on the exterior on the flat surfaces. Around the dish are frosted 3D Horses and Menagerie figures fashioned very much like a Victorian carousel. The "jumpers" include two elephants, two roosters, and two horses. The only "standers" are two swans. A spiral column separates each of the animals. Below them, is a 3D scalloped design. It measures 7 inches in diameter x 3.4 inches tall with a depth of 2.5 inches.
