A charming wool-felt figure of Donald Duck, crafted in Italy expressly for Saks Fifth Avenue and standing just under nineteen inches tall. The piece features a vivid green duffle coat with toggle closures, bright orange felt feet and bill, and detailed applique patches on the cap.
Shows age-related wear consistent with vintage felt figures. Several internal armature wires have migrated slightly through the felt: a curved wire at the right hand, small straight wires at both sides of the torso, and a tiny metal point at the bottom of one foot. All areas remain stable and intact, with the felt retaining strong color and form. Light handling wear only and no tears, pest damage, or odors. A distinctive and uncommon display piece for serious Disneyana collectors.
