Condition: Fair vintage condition, moderate wear, patina, surface marks, and some discoloration/oxidation consistent with age. No major dents or cracks visible. Interior shows soot/residue from use. Please see all photos for exact condition details.
The base is marked: Vantines, No 1027, Made in France
Heavy, non-magnetic metal with ornate embossed motif and pierced lid. Handles at each side, three feet on base, finial on top with openwork vent. Lid detaches from base. Flower or scrollwork designs around body and lid.
