Mixed lot of U.S. military flatware spanning early to mid-20th century.
Visible markings: USN, U.S., L.F.&C. 1917, and MODERNAIRE.
Total 23 pieces: 7 knives (five USN table knives, one ornate USN-handled knife, and one U.S. knife stamped L.F.&C. 1917), 8 large tablespoons (various U.S./USN including heart-end and slotted-handle patterns), 4 teaspoons (heart-end pattern), and 4 forks (one USN plus two black-handle and one older metal fork).
Metals appear mixed: stainless, carbon steel blades, and plated alloys; exact composition unknown.
Design notes: classic heart-end mess pattern, slotted-handle field spoon, rounded Navy handles.
