This is a true vintage JC Higgins Sears & Roebucks tan cotton rubberized, inflatable pneumatic air mattress. The valve appears to be made of brass with a screw on cap. I am seeing no damage to the mattress itself, appears to never be used, it has been stored for a very long time and there is a slight storage sent. I got this when I purchased a old military trunk/locker, I believe it was used by military personnel. I have not tested it. I have no way to blow it up. Measures 33" x 72" flat.
I actually have 3 identical mattresses, the other 2 have their original box, I've added an image of the label on the box, this is NOT included for this listing.
