This is an original 1980 Journey World Tour crew jacket, made by Cats Pyjamas of Venice, California, known for producing high-quality tour and crew apparel during that era. Black satin body, embroidered tour design, and classic bomber fit a rare, authentic piece from the Departure tour.
Provenance / Backstory
Won in a Mobile, AL radio contest--winners flew to California, got backstage passes, and received this jacket directly from tour staff. The couple divorced shortly after, yet both have told the same story for 40+ years. True vintage XL fit, excellent condition, rare collector's piece.
