Vintage CYVRA Sterling Silver stamped Abalone Elf Fairy Pixie imp Pin Brooch
Gorgeous and highly collectible! Solid 925 sterling silver casted elf or fairy with abalone shell wings. Stamped “STERLING” on the back. Working roll-over clasp. Vintage piece and may need a cleaning depending on preferences, most vintage collectors prefer the patina. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver.
Cyvra was a company founded by Vera Wood and her husband, Cyril Wood. They started making gold and silver jewelry in the 1950's using the lost wax process for their jewelry designs, hand carved by wax and cast. Their distinctive designs often featured whimsical elfs, fairies, and flora/fauna motif. Vera and Cyril Wood created jewelry for Oleg Cassini in the 1960's and also designed for William Ruser. Cyvra pieces are rare and highly sought after.
