(Star Birth!), the first public audition program in television history that aired on Nippon Television from '71 to '83 and reshaped the entertainment landscape! The CD includes the debut singles of all 88 artists born from "Star Tanjou!" on 5 discs, while the DVD includes famous scenes from the program's final competitions (some) as well as a wealth of rare footage, also on 5 discs. The first edition also includes a reprint of the "500th Anniversary Pamphlet," a must-have collector's item for idol and kayokyoku (Japanese popular music) enthusiasts.
