This is an exquisite item.
Production of the 144 ended nearly 20 years ago, making this model, which is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, malfunctions, or engraved name, quite rare.
The successor model, the 145, has a screw-on cap, whereas this one has a snap-on cap, which is a significant characteristic.
The nib width is M (Medium).
It's a well-balanced nib width, neither too thick nor too thin.
