This gorgeously detailed butterfly necklace is 18 inches long, with attached sturdy flat box chain, laying approximately in the middle of the chest. The moonstone is smaller but has a nice light blue flash. The larger garnet is a lovely opaque dark red, not crystal clear like lab created ones. Garnets come in everything from transparent, to translucent, to opaque! This necklace looks so fabulous on, with the scrollwork detailing in the butterfly giving it a beautifully detailed look!
Dipped in molten silver, Sterling Overlay allows for a much thicker silver coating than plating & creates longer-lasting, sturdier pieces of jewelry that can support more detailed metalwork than solid sterling.
