This is a vintage Fenton Old Santa Claus 2-piece lovely ruby amberina glass fairy lamp. Mint condition and great coloration.
Standing about 5.5 in tall, Santa is a beautiful amberina color that glows a yellowish orange color on own and more under UV-light. The "glow" effect is a result of the glass containing a small amount of cadmium or uranium, which causes it to fluoresce under a blacklight.
According to Fenton's records, the Santa Claus fairy lamp mold, #5106, was introduced in 1971 with production discontinued in 1979.
